Greenland Wax Travel pack - Tiny pocket sized Wax Bars

Environmentally friendly wax impregnation developed in-house for clothes in G-1000®-fabric. By rubbing the wax into the fabric and warming it, the surface becomes water repellent.

How do I use it? I hear you ask, well...

G-1000®, a tightly woven material made from hard-spun fi bers in a mixture of 65% polyester and 35% cotton is originally impregnated with Greenland Wax. The wax reinforces the textile’s protection against the wind, rain and wear.

After repeated washing and frequent use, the wax wears off and must be replenished. The wax is a mixture of paraffi n and beeswax and melts at approximately 55°C. One wax block is suffi cient to impregnate approximately ten garments. A garment with extra waxing in G-1000® will keep you dry almost anywhere in any weather conditions.

1) Apply the Greenland Waxto the garment. A thin layer is easier to work with than a thick layer. Work in small areas. Remember that it can be beneficial to apply a little extra wax on exposed areas, for example the shoulders and the front of the legs.

2) Once the wax is applied, the garment should be heated. Use a standard hair dryer, iron or tumble dryer set on medium heat. Melt the wax, which will spread when it becomes sufficiently warm. Wipe off the surplus wax.

Easy!
