In the modern world we are all controlled by the dominance of supermarkets, both for convenience and ‘normality’. But the truth is, not so long ago man was still finding his own food growing wild, free, and more nutritious than those alternatives sitting on the shelves presented to the droves of hungry shoppers. Foragers takes the student back to how we once lived, a more natural, healthier and satisfying way of living. Wild food is something that anyone can bring into their lives; all you need is a little confidence and knowhow, which is just what this course aims to give you. Discover what plants and trees were a staple in the diet of our ancestors, learn how to make primitive fishing equipment and simple traps using nature’s abundant materials, and see what other secrets nature holds for us. After this course you won’t be able to look at the countryside in the same light ever again!
PLEASE NOTE THIS COURSE IS AIMED AT THOSE NEW TO THE SUBJECT, AS WELL AS THOSE WHO HAVE SOME BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF WILD FOODS.
