Have you ever wondered why our plants and trees often have strange names, or how they were used in the past? Do you know how the horse chestnut got its name, or how this large tree can be used in our lives today?
If you would like to know the answer to these questions and more, then join us on this two day course that will set out to explore how our native plants and trees have been used in bushcraft in the past. You will have the opportunity to put some of these methods to the test throughout the day as we set up camp and spend a night in our remote woodland location. Listen to deer and owls as they call and the crackle of the campfire which you will learn how to light in a primItive way.
