These axes are hand forged in Sweden at Hults Bruk, established in 1697.
These incredibly well-finished axes are made from Swedish axe steel of consistently high quality and handles are made of oiled prime hickory heartwood.
The hardening method leaves a clear hardened zone where the axe can be resharpened without detracting from the strength of the edge. Used correctly, these axes can last for generations.
The axes are hardened to 58-59 HRC.
Each axe comes with a sturdy leather sheath and comes packaged in an individual presentation box.
This model has a handle that is (25cm), and the weight of the head is 0.5Kg.
