The Single edge spar hook has an Ash handle, the same size as Devon and Newtown billhooks but the blade much smaller and easier to control. Blade length approx 7", total length 12. 5" Tang runs full length of the handle.
Traditionally used for splitting hazel thatching spars, but also very good for coppicing.
