The steel used is CPM S30V Powder Steel, with a flat Scandinavian Grind. Satin finish blade.

CMP S30V Stainless Powder steel. A wear and corrosion resistant stainless powder steel developed by Crucible Materials Corporation in collaboration with knife maker Chris Reeve. Its chemistry promotes the formation and even distribution of vanadium carbides, which are harder and more effective at cutting than chromium carbides. These vanadium carbides give the steel a very refined grain, further improving the sharpness and toughness of its edge. HRC 59-59.
