Gransfors Scandinavian Forest Axe

A more professional axe for those who want to limb a felled tree in the traditional way. Forged to a thin, curved bit and sharpened to make it suitable for cutting branches in fresh, resinous wood, spruce or pine forests in winter. The long handle gives extra strength and power to the cut. This axe has a pleasing balance and weight, which make it a joy to own and use.

The axe has a 3 1/2" face and a 25" hickory handle and the head weighs 2 lb.
