this is an amazing knife. it has to be the best knife i have used. perfect, you can use it for almost anything.
Apart from the Mora for starters, this is the best - high quality; ok weight; ok blade length; strong blade and handle and sheath; zytel sheath better (and cheaper) as has bottom holes for leg ties/added secure straps, and plastic easier to dry
It's really hard to fault this knife. The blade is a brilliant, razor sharp convex grind, and holds it's edge better than any knife I've ever used! The spine is perfect for use with a firesteel and the protruding tang is extremely useful! The only issue people may find is it can be a little tedious to sharpen (on the rare occasion it would need it), as the steel is incredibly strong.
It's an outstanding Knife! I agree completely with the comments already mentioned. I'm glad I bought zytel sheath but would have preferred a "Scandi" grind, to make it easier to sharpen. That aside, I can't see why anyone would pay more!
Recieved my F1 less than 24hrs after dispatch, very pleased! The knife itself exceeds all expectations of reviews on youtube, etc. fits perfectly in the hand, shaving sharp out of the box, beautiful weight. Cannot recommend enough!
I haven't had a chance to get this thing out yet, just received it. But it is beautiful, feels great in the hand and is super sharp. So far I love it and figure I'll still feel the same once I get it out and put it to work.
