Description

The Condor Village Parang brings both beauty and function together to form a very elegant and efficient outdoor survival cutting tool. The village parang offers outstanding balance, whilst providing enough weight to chop through the most stubborn foliage and branches that you'll come across on your bushcraft adventures.

The blade has a stunning hammered-steel texture, somewhat reminiscent of tools used in the Medieval Times. The blade is made from 1075 High-Carbon steel with a Full-Tang, making this a super-strong bushcraft machete for many survival, hunting and camping tasks. The handle is made from American Walnut, and is curved, making it comfortable, and a joy to use.

Product Reviews
"It looks beautiful on the web site, it feels beautiful in the hand! I order this on Sunday last (10/11/13) and it arrived mid-day on Tuesday, fantastic service. Having never owned one of this type of cutting tool, I have nothing to compare it with, however in line with some other comments regarding different Condor products offered here, it arrived sharp and ready to use. I did do a little research and discovered that the parent company was a German manufacturer who withdrew from South America and the workforce have continued to manufacture to the same standards. I also looked for any similar parangs, I did find one...for 250! If you have need for this type of tool or just want a wonderfully made object, don't hesitate. Think I'll try the Condor bushcraft knife next."
