Tinder

Tinder is simply a lightweight, often fluffy and dry substance that catches a spark to create an ember or flame. Many natural fibres can be collected from nature, but often, even if not raining it can be damp and unable to ignite naturally when using a firesteel.  We offer a selection of different tinder, from fatwood and Maya dust, through to organic fibres that are completely eco-friendly and safe to burn outside. So, as a back-up on your bushcraft course or camping trip, see our large selection of the most readily combustible natural tinder.
