IMPORTANT: To preserve the useful life of the product, hand wash with a mild dishwashing liquid, rinse, and dry immediately.  Cast iron is porous, do not allow to soak and do not wash in the dishwasher.  It's also a good idea to apply a little vegetable oil to the surface from time to time. Please also take care when using, as even the handle become VERY HOT.
