Blade: The triple laminated carbon steel blade is held securely in place by three rivets and features a hollow lanyard rivet at the butt end.

"Alex, I apologise, my comments became slightly blurred there. Most knife collectors I know are incredibly picky, to the degree that they usually order many of the same knife until they find one that they deem to be perfect. When in fact, they all were in the first place. This wasnít really directed at you, but I have made it read that way, so Iím sorry about that. And yes, we both agree on the fast and excellent service from Greenman Bushcraft. I now order all of my Survival Knives and survival equipment from them!"

"@Steve - just to be clear, I was comparing the knife to my F1 - which was cheaper. The Temagami is the most expensive knife I own. I also only have 4 working knives, so would hardly call myself a nit-picking collector! As I said, the material quality is good, but the handle construction/finish is a little rough. At least we both agree that Greenman's delivery is exceptionally good!"

"I have quite a few knives from the Helle range of knives. I like the handmade quality to them, and the great blades. I disagree with some of the points of the review above this one. I think this knife is being compared to knives 3 or 4 times the price, and to be honest, I think there is a lot of nit picking that goes on between collectors. The quality really is very good indeed, and in my opinion the knife rivals any others on the market, including those which cost £350+. Fast shipping as usual, delivery was within 24 hours of the order. Thanks folks. "

"This is my second knife from Greenman's - it arrived incredibly quickly & well packaged. I was looking for a nice Scandinavian bushcraft knife - ideally carbon steel and with a natural handle. The Temagami arrives very sharp, and with a lovely curly birch wood handle. The blade is thick and the handle is a good size for large hands. It feels solid. The 3 notches on the back of the blade are to rest your finger on when performing detailed tasks. Some field test reviews say that it's too sharp for skinning - but that it's a solid bushcraft knife. You won't be able to get sparks from a firesteel using these. The worst thing about this knife is the poor quality of construction. Myself and several other owners (search online / knife forums) have noticed the tang and wood are not smooth/flush and the rivets are fitted quite clumsily. As the knife is over £100, it's inexcusable. That said, I used a sharp blade and some sandpaper to finish the handle on mine properly. Give it a sand and a dab of linseed oil to seal the wood and it will be good to go. I'm happy to have bought it, but you may want to consider the Helle Alden, Eggen or Fjellkniven as an alternative."

"Lovely knife. Nice to see something hand-made/finished for a change. It's a really good shape for use as a bushcraft and survival knife. I'm very happy with it, and the service here 10/10. Thank you. Jonas. "

"Stunning knife, really great for general bushcraft, and IMO better than most custom builds! As always, Greenman offered the best price and a delivery time of just hours! Ordered at 5pm and took delivery at 7am next day! WELL DONE, AGAIN! "
