PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is the latest incarnation of this best-selling travel hammock from DD. The DD travel hammock is perfect for those who travel light and great for wilderness survival, bushcraft and other outdoor courses.

DD Travel hammock is quick and easy to assemble and features an integrated mosquito net. This integral net is easy to see out of and, when it isn't required, can be tied up to keep it out of the way. This latest version of the DD Travel Hammock includes foldable, lightweight poles which can be used to keep the mosquito net spread out. The net itself is zipped on two sides allowing easy access and exit from the hammock. If the mosiquo net isn't required at all then the hammock can be inverted with the net tied up underneath.

The hammock also has four tabs which can be used to secure it to the ground if it is to be used as a bivi. The DD Travel Hammock is constructed with 2 waterproof base layers which is for ideal when no trees are available and it doubles-up as a handy, basic tent. Between the two layers there are Velcro patches which have been cleverly designed to accommodate a thermarest for camping during colder conditions.

DD Travel hammock has been designed to also help store some of your essential items while sleeping out. There are two internal pockets which are ideal to keeping your phone, a torch or small first aid kit. There is also the addition of a additional elastic cord which creates a ridge line for storing smaller items.

As the name would imply, the DD travel hammock is very portable and packs up into a small lightweight bag for easy of transportation from site to site. We recommend purchasing a Hammock Sleeve with this hammock which allows you to pack / set-up your hammock up in no time.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

"I am a first time hammock user with the DD Travel Hammock. I tested it out not long after buying it, in my back garden. I tied it to the kids climbing frames and slept in it in a temperature around 7C. I was glad I had taken the advice of putting a sleeping mat inside the under sleeve, lieing asymmetrically with feet a bit higher. The strength of the hammock took my 73kg weight without breaking! Getting in and out was straight forward. I love the built in mozzy net as I am susceptible to bites. It is a brilliant piece of kit. I look forward to using it further especially with additions for that extra warmth where my body leaves the mat! In all a comfortable night, all things considering! Much better than sleeping directly on the ground, although I am likely to do that as well in future. A great all-in -one hammock, very versatile. Even my eldest son (14) enjoyed relaxing in it and got the hang of it quickly. Watching other videos about DD Travel Hammocks certainly helps in the all-round experience. "

"I purchased this hammock back last year and i have been using it ever since. A great piece of equipment for any outdoor lover, i reccomend it to anyone that like to travel without a tent. It isnt the lightest of hammocks but i certanly think it is the best! I have used all the different ways of using it, bivi, hammock lounging about hammock and it fits the bill for all of them. The hammock is extremely waterproof and withstood gailforce rain and wind combined with a tarp. The mosquito netting is great and reppels all small insects. A fansastic hammock, deffinately worth the money!!!!!"
