These are hand forged, quality tools!

Made by the traditional Morris company of Dunsford, Devon. A very well balanced forged billhook for general work, not too heavy, and nicely balanced.

Product Specification

5.5" oval handle made of ash, blade length approx 9", long equal bevels. Tang runs full length of the handle.

"After breaking the handles off two sickles I looked for something tougher to deal with nettles, brambles and clumps of grass in a field. I was unable to find anything in local shops (in Germany), an online shop suggested a machete, but had none in stock. But, a machete seemed to be overkill. I searched the Internet and found this billhook, which looked as if it would do the job. Customer service suggested I got this instead of the cheaper plain billhook, as this would hold an edge better and last longer. Delivery was really fast, and I soon got a chance to try it out. It does the job, it does it well, and it is robust. I'm very happy with it. Minor quibbles; the handle is varnished and slips in a leather gloved hand, and a wrist loop/hanging loop would be nice."
