Description

If you're going to be using an outdoor hammock to sleep in whilst in a woodland or forest, then a pair of tree huggers are the perfect accessory for anyone who cares about the environment in which they set up bushcraft camp.

Tree huggers prevent damage to trees when using lightweight suspension systems, such as our whoopie slings. The very essence of bushcraft is about caring for the environment, so these really are a must for those of us who use outdoor sleeping systems for our bushcraft and camping adventures.

The 2cm (Regular) or 4cm (XL) wide and 2m long material straps are big enough for most species of trees, and if using with a smaller tree, they can be wrapped around the tree trunk more than once to reduce the length of the tree hugger straps.

Each tree hugger features a 2" loop sewn in at either end so no knots are required to use them, meaning they're easy to use for everyone, and make setting up camp for children is now an easy, 'knot-free' task to complete.

My Hennessy hammock is now a little lighter for swapping...

My Hennessy hammock is now a little lighter for swapping over my old tree-huggers (car seatbelts) for DD tree huggers-loads of grip, longer, lighter and I will keep an eye out for fraying over the coming months..
