Description

Wearing hand protection whilst wood carving is frowned upon by some we get that, and the reasons why, but some people, especially those that are new to woodcarving prefer to learn whilst wearing some form of hand protection. Whilst Cut Gloves certainly reduce the risk of cutting your hands, they do increase the risk of slipping. For this reason, we recommend that you only use the glove on the hand that is holding the object that you are carving and NOT the hand holding the knife. This helps to reduce slips.

Cut protection gloves will minimise risk, but you still need to take care as puncture wounds can still occur. The gloves are designed to minimise the risk of cuts not remove the risk entirely.
