Oasis Water Purification Tablets are manufactured in the United Kingdom by Hydrachem under GMP manufacturing standards, with a strong focus on quality, consistency and product safety.
Hydrachem is listed by NSF International, while the Oasis range of water purification tablets has been tested and certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 60, the recognised standard covering chemicals used in drinking-water treatment. The active ingredients used within the tablets are also approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for their intended water-treatment applications.
Emergency Water Purification
Standard Oasis Water Purification Tablets are formulated to provide approximately 5ppm available chlorine, in line with the concentration recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) for emergency water purification situations.
This makes them particularly suitable for emergency preparedness, survival kits, expeditions, travel, bushcraft, camping and other situations where the safety of a water supply may be uncertain.
Household Water Treatment
Where the source water is already relatively clean and a lower treatment level is appropriate, Oasis Home Water Purification Tablets are available. These provide approximately 2ppm available chlorine for household water treatment applications.
