Description

The Hultafors Hults Bruk Ekelund is an axe designed for Hunting and Forest use. The axe offers a ground neck and 850g head which is the perfect weight for easy woodland work as well as for prepping game. As with all premium axes from Hultafors the handle is made from American hickory wood and treated with linseed oil to improve the overall finish.

Each of the classic/premium axes are hand forged from the highest quality Swedish steel which is sharpened with a convex grind cutting edge. The axe is supplied with a leather axe sheath.

The name from this axe was inspired by Gunnar Ekelund, the squire who, inspired after a trip to the USA and initiated axe production at a larger scale in 1870-75.
