The Hults Bruk (Hultafors) Classic Hultan Trekking hatchet is the perfect companion for any outdoor adventure, whether you are hill-walking in remote areas or just need to cut wood for the camp fire. The size of the hatchet is ideal for covering a multitude of different jobs, from felling small trees through to carving, this axe is one of the most versatile axes that you'll find, and it falls within what many would consider a ‘Wildlife Hatchet’ size of axe.

As you'd rightly expect for a premium axe, the head is hand forged and made from high-quality Swedish steel in the forge at Hults Bruk where they have been making the finest quality axes and cutting tools since 1697 - far longer than any of their competitors that base their designs on these originals. The hatchet is named after Hultån, the stream where the water for the water wheels was once taken.
