Description

The Mora Companion 840 Bushcraft Knife and Greenman Bushcraft Army Firesteel Set is a great way to save pounds and enjoy bushcraft even more! The Morakniv Companion 840, also known as the clipper is quite simply a fantastic bushcraft knife with a razor sharp edge, incredibly strong blade and well suited to all bushcraft tasks. Don't be fooled by the low price tag, there have been NO cutting corners in the design of this knife.

Along with your Mora 840 (with sheath) you'll also receive a Greenman Bushcraft Army Firesteel, a fire striker that we firmly believe is the best priced firesteel on the market today, and, when combined with the Mora knife, the set compliments each other perfectly, allowing you to carve and create fires with ease!

Mora Survival Knife and Firesteel Set

The Mora 840 offers a 10cm high-carbon steel blade and a 12cm rubberised handle and tough plastic sheath. The firesteel is full-army size with a width of 8mm. Learning bushcraft and survival has never been so much fun!

Mora knife, well, no need to review that, universally adored and for good reason. Carbon blade, slightly easier to resharpen than stainless, but needs a tad more care because can corrode quicker. Now, the firesteel and strike: excellent. Nice usable length to both, good thickness to the rod. Bottle opener and rule a nice touch. Price, well, put it like this: I've seen comparable firesteels at the same price as this knife and ferro set. Cheers Greenmanbushcraft, yet again.

I have wanted a Mora for ages, after reading other reviews I decided to go with this deal, The knife for me will mainly be used for cutting food for the pot and gutting fish, although I did need some kindling for the stove I purchased, and the mora worked great, the firesteel was used also and performed well. all good..

The Mora knife is super sharp, and the handle is a great fit and very non-slip. The plastic sheath is also a good shape and fit. The fire steel is very good, a good strong spark each time, and easily sets tinder alight to get a good fire going.

First order of this site, well made, strong blade, sits well in my hand, an excellent knife for the price with the added bonus of a quality firesteel thrown in.
