Description

Our credit card size Fresnel lens is an important survival item which can form part of your EDC kit. It's very small, incredibly lightweight and with its 4x magnification it is capable to directing the sun's rays into a small, super-hot bead of light which will set a tinder bundle smoldering within a second or two (literally). 

All you need is some sunlight. Add more tinder and kindling to the smoking tinder bundle to create flames. These small Fresnel Lenses are flat enough to lie at the bottom of most survival kits and are a fool-proof way of starting fires in emergencies.

Our Fire Starting lenses are the perfect size to keep inside wallets and purses and also come in handy when reading small print.

ideal addition to survival kit, you need quite a bright day to be able to start a fire with this (in the midlands in march anyway) but takes up next to no room and is useful for map reading or splinter finding also flexible so wont crack or snap (I would have prefered stronger magnification though)
