Description

Our special high-resin tinder is the ideal fuel to get your fire going.  Each bag is enough for many fires.  As the material is light, it doesn't look like much, but what we supply is equivalent to a full carrier bag.

Ideally you will require a material such as our Organic plant fiber down to help with the ignition process, but this material is excellent and slow burning, making it ideal for beginners and instructors.

Excellent bulk tinder. It will ignite from ferro rod sparks or an ember, though in either case it is quicker to use some fine tinder to create a flame that will then ignite this to create a bigger and longer lasting source to set fire to your kindling. 100g is actually more like half a carrier bag than nearly a full one but even so it is enough to start many fires. Good stuff for making your own tinder nests either directly under your kindling to light with the ferro rod or to take an ember made with tradition flint, steel and charcloth or punk wood.
