If you've purchased an age-restricted item, such as a knife, you now need to upload a photo of your ID on this secure page. This is a LEGAL requirement. If the purchase is for a company/school then we may not require these details. If you don't agree with this step, please refrain from ordering. You will also need to show your ID to the delivery driver (this is a new law). Parcels cannot be signed for, or left with, anyone other than the consignee.
Providing us with your ID allows us to serve you remotely, and release your order for processing. A simple photo of an official document, such as a driving license is fine - we only need to see your name,date of birth and last 5 digits of any numbers present. Any other sensitive details/photo may be covered. The ID MUST show your NAME and DOB - a 'selfie' is not acceptable and your order shall remain on hold!
All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We do not store your details; we will simply add a pass mark to your order/account and securely destroy the data/files sent to us.
Alternatively, you can email your details to firstname.lastname@example.org after checkout along with your order number. Please be aware that we cannot respond to each submission individually. If you open an account at the time of your order you will be able to see when your order begins to process - a step that only starts once your ID has been accepted.
***PLEASE NOTE: if supplying these details whilst ordering, you will need to return to the basket to complete your order - If supplying the details after checkout, please do so within 24 hours of your purchase to avoid your order being placed on hold and adding additonal days to the delivery - We WON'T contact you with reminders. Should you later decide not to supply details, we may refund your order less any packaging costs already used in the first stage of processing your order***
If you don’t have a scanner or camera/phone camera then please use a registered service to send us a copy via the postal service. Please clearly state your order number on any documentation. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ORIGINALS!!
