We supply an axe book with all of our Gransfors axes free of charge!

Gransfors Wildlife Hatchet is a small light axe which can be easily carried masked with its leather sheath, inside your rucksack or attached to your belt. This small axe is suitable for cutting branches or chopping and splitting sticks for a camp fire. The hatchet is also handy for carving and many other bushcrafting tasks. We use and rely on these axes a lot! Please also see the Gransfors Blade Care Range.

This little hatchet awakes in many of us memories and dreams of exciting camps and adventures. The hatchet has a 3" face and a 13 1/2 " hickory handle and the head weighs 1 lb. It comes with a grain-leather sheath.

"Great little axe. Pleasantly sharp on arrival. I've found the handle a little thin for my hands, however adding a cord wrapped around it soon resolved that. Great price and great quality. "

"I've recently taken up carving knives and spoons and this is a great little axe - perfect for me as a 5'4" lady to use! Is wonderful at chopping larger amounts of wood away before starting on the knifework. My husband is into bushcraft and really rates it for his bigger projects too. Really recommend company to order from as well - great prices and fast delivery - thank you. You're my first port of call when I want any new stuff!"
