The Hultafors Carpenters Axe is a premium axe for wood workers. Offering a long and thin knife style cutting face it is perfect for cutting notches and trimming timber. The head is hand-forged from high grade Swedish steel which has been specially created for axes using traditional methods, making it incredibly dense and able to hold an edge very well. There is a notch located near the Hickory wood pole which allows you to hold a hand above the cutting edge whilst working.
Supplied with the Classic Carpenters axe is an exceptionally well-made leather mask for keeping the edge safe whilst being stored or transported.
