PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

We all know that bushcraft knives can carry a hefty price tag, especially those with attention to detail and a natural or rustic appearance. There is however an exception to this rule and that's the range of Condor outdoor survival knives and machetes. Condor products are keenly priced and yet perform like cutting tools with much higher price tags.

The Condor Bushlore Bushcraft knife uses high-quality materials such as German 1075 high-carbon tool steel, which has been heat treated and annealed to approximately 56 - 58 on the Rockwell hardness scale, to allow for a greater strength for splitting kindling for the campfire as well as holding a superb cutting edge for other survival tasks such as carving and skinning. The blade has also been sand-blasted to produce a satin finish which minimises unwanted reflections from the sun.

Condor Bushlore Knife Specifications

  • BLADE MATERIAL: 3 mm -1075 German High-carbon Tooling Steel
  • BLADE LENGTH : 4 5/16"
  • BLADE TANG: Full
  • BLADE FINISH: Blasted Satin
  • HANDLE: American Hardwood or Micarta
  • SHEATH: Black Leather

Each Condor Bushlore knife goes through the Condor quality control test known as the 'Torture Ring' where each blade is tested fully for flexibility and ultimate strength, and each type of knife has also been tested in real-world survival situations in the wilderness. If they don't perform well, then they don't go into production.

Each Bushlore Survival knife comes complete with a high-quality leather knife sheath which has been hand-crafted from scratch.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

"Condor Bushlore Knife was on my wishlist for a Long time. Now I hold it in my Hand and I love it. It's a perfect outdoorknife for a good Price! Greetings from Austria/Vienna"

"I has bought one of these for a friend's 40th a couple of years ago. I thought it was great. I now have my own and it's just as good as I remember. It feels so solid and we'll made. The sheath is such good quality too. Even at the slightly higher price (for ages it had been under £50.00) it's great value. Swiftly and safely delivered by Greenman, as usual. Very pleased. "

"Blade was a little dull out of the box but that was soon rectified! Overall a very nice piece of kit that should last a long time! "

StarStarStarStarStarReview By Neil Bestwick

"Prompt delivery. Excellent knife for the money, sharp out of the box. Condor quality control isn't excellent, some tooling marks and glue remained on handle, but where cleaned up easily enough. Overall knife is comfortable and easy to use, feels very solid in the hand. Absolute bargain. "

"What a cracking knife, the concave bevel is the only minor drawback but can be polished out with the right stones. The look and feel is of a much more expensive knife and it comes well sharpened. I really can't fault much with this valuable bit of kit. "

StarStarStarStarStarReview By Steve P

"Just got it and was surprised at the quality. For value for money it is 1st class. As a knife it is well made and ready for use immediately. Keeps its edge well and feels good in the hand. All round a very good buy"

StarStarStarStarStarReview By Phil

"Item arrived it quick time, no fuss.Customer service reply was swift and helpful.... For the price this seems a real bargain! Have spent 10 minutes outside batoning some hard wood and then another 10 doing some finer cutting. The blade has held it edge. Will take it out this weekend for some proper abuse."

StarStarStarStarStarReview By AndrewE

"After receiving the Condor Village Parang (see separate review), I decided that this Bush(lore)craft knife would be the one I'd chose. I had looked at the range on offer and knew I wanted a 4" blade length, well the number available is bewildering, so having bought one Condor product it had to be this knife. In use it is superb: balanced very well; maintains it's edge (which was sharp from unpacking) and after using it for a while wish I had bought one before now! The shape of the blade has just the right curve and to finish it off, it comes with an excellent sheath."

StarStarStarStarStarReview By Terry Speyer.

"Absolutely first rate knife at a bargain price. I have been looking for a quality knife for some time but could never find one that was within a justifiable budget that would feel like it would last. On its arrival I was delighted, everything about it felt like quality, from the thick leather sheath, the comfortable handle, and heavy sharp blade which is man enough for any job. Great product at a fraction of the cost of others of a similar quality. Highly recommended"

StarStarStarStarStarReview By Malcolm Rendle

"Arrived within two days. Very sharp straight out of the box just in time to skin and butcher a few bunnies from the previous days ferreting. Will be ordering more kit from Greenman Bushcraft."

StarStarStarStarStarReview By Trevor Doyle

"I had high hopes after reading all the reviews but unfortunatly the knife came dull out of the box and the handle was miss shaped. After some sharpening and reshaping the handle I again had high hopes, but after some light batoning and removing bark from branches the blade edge became slightly notched and dull Definitely not what I expected ..... "

StarStarStarStarStarReview By David Morris

"This is the second knife I have bought - as a present for my brother - you can buy 10 of these for the price of a Ray mears knife and let's be honest we will hardly ever know the difference. Such good bits of kit - did really really well in Sweden, I am very pleased with this - keeps it's edge and feels good as well, top bit of kit, well done Condor - now who else shall I buy one for?"

StarStarStarStarStarReview By Mat Walden

"Wow what a super bit of kit - and at a great price, Looking forward to using it in Sweden, you really can't go wrong at this price - I know what pressies I am going to buy my mates! This is great, get one you will not be disappointed - looks like a very expensive bit of kit - only you will know. Well done Condor you have really pulled one out of the bag, thanks."

StarStarStarStarStarReview By Mat Walden

"A first class knife for a knockdown price. Amazingly sharp on arrival, put to work straight away cutting up some Astro turf for the garden. Zipped through it like a knife through butter. Not what the Condor is designed for, but what the heck, it was there, the job was there, job done. Definitely a superb knife, cant wait to get her into the woods."
