The Opinel Number 8 is a great all-round folding lock knife which is of a good size to fit most adult hands.  The 8.5cm stainless steel blade is excellent for most tasks, such as whittling, foraging, gardening and camp crafts.

Safety - the Opinel No.8 features a double ring twist lock 'VIROBLOC', which enables the user to fix the blade in an open or closed position, offering maximum knife safety when being used.

The stainless steel blade is less likely to corrode or discolour than the high carbon steel version (also stocked by us) due to added chromium content to the steel. This means that this model is better suited where the blade is going to be exposed the elements more, or used for hunting.

The handle, like with most Opinel knives is made using the finest natural beech wood which has a beautiful grain.  The handle has been lightly varnished to offer maximum protection and longevity.

  • Handle: Varnished Beech
  • Blade: Stainless Steel
  • Blade Length: 8.5cm
