Base Camp is the largest model in the Kelly Kettle range with an impressive 1.6l water capacity. This increased size makes the Base Camp Kelly Kettle suitable for groups and ideal for Forest School classes as well as Bushcraft courses, camping and fishing trips and many more outdoor activities. Despite its large capacity (which is the equivalent of around 6 mugs of water), this large camping kettle weighs just over 1kg so remains highly portable.
Kelly Kettles have zero running costs and boast carbon neutrality, you can use any naturally occurring solid fuel (sticks, dung, dried leaves etc.) to fuel them. This has the additional benefit of ensuring you never run out of fuel while in the wilderness. Where portability is a key consideration (especially when trekking over long distances fuel no longer needs to be carried from site-to-site and can simply be found whenever it is required.
Thanks to the innovative design, Kelly Kettles (which are often referred to as Storm Kettles) can be used in virtually all weather conditions. The burning fuel is protected from strong winds and rain to ensure it keeps burning efficiently and heats water in a matter of minutes. This ensures that a cup of tea is never far away even in the most testing of weather conditions (when it is needed the most!)
Whatever your outdoor activity, whether you are a keen bushcrafter, host forest school classes or simply want a quick and effective outdoor kettle for your camping trip, fishing excursion or picnic then there is a Kelly Kettle to suit you. These latest model stainless steel kettles now boast a rivet free design opting, instead, for an all-welded design which helps improve long-life reliability.
Now comes with whistle which replaces the orange stopper!
