Helle Sigmund Bushcraft Knife

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Helle knives are always beautifully designed, but the new Helle Sigmund comes with a little more history of design than some other Helle knives. The Sigmund Bushcraft knife is an anniversary knife. Originally the Sigmund blade was designed by Norwegian, Sigmund Helle in the early 1930's, and in 2012 the handle was designed by his son, Torodd.
Combing many years of knife making tradition, the Sigmund bushcraft and outdoor knife was born. Although the Helle Sigmund is a perfect bushcraft tool, it's just as useful as a classic all-purpose knife. The handle is made with a series of stacked pieces of wood (Beech and Kebony), alternating between leather spacers which gives each knife its own unique appearance and personality. The 11cm blade is made from triple laminated stainless steel which produces incredible sharpness and it's able to hold its edge longer than lesser quality knife steels are.
The Helle Sigmund comes complete with a beautiful real leather sheath and belt loop, the sheath has traditional patterns which have been pressed into the leather during the manufacturing process.
This lovely outdoor and bushcraft knife has an 11cm handle, which is slightly thinner than many on the market today, and the finger guard is small, making it easy to use this bushcraft knife for carving as it doesn't get in the way.
